Employee Status Management in CrewHero 👥⚙️
Managing people in CrewHero is simple, flexible, and designed to keep records safe. Instead of deleting anyone, CrewHero uses employment statuses so you can:
- Mark someone as Not Employed when they leave.
- Rehire them later by updating their status again.
- Filter your People list to View Past Employees whenever needed.
This ensures you never lose important information like contact details, training records, or job history. 🙌
1. Removing People (Marking as Not Employed) ❌
When someone leaves your team, you can remove them from your active roster by changing their status to Not Employed.
Steps:
- Log in to https://go.crewhero.app.
- Click People in the left-hand menu.
- Select the person you want to update.
- In their profile, scroll to the Work section.
- Open the Employment drop-down menu and select Not Employed.
👉 They’ll no longer appear in your active roster, but their record is safely stored.
2. Viewing Past Employees 👀
CrewHero makes it easy to pull up records for people who are no longer active.
Steps:
- Go to People in the left-hand menu.
- Use the filter at the top of the page.
- Select View Past Employees.
- Click on Person’s Name
- Restore This Person, Select ‘Yes, Restore’
👉 You’ll now see all employees marked as Not Employed. From here, you can check their details or rehire them.
3. Rehiring People 🔄
If someone returns to your team, you don’t need to create a new profile. Just update their employment status.
Steps:
- Go to People and apply the View Past Employees filter.
- Click on the person you want to rehire.
- In their profile, scroll to the Work section.
- Open the Employment drop-down menu and select the new status (e.g., Full Time, Part Time, or Seasonal).
👉 They’ll immediately move back to your active roster.
