Taking time off is a normal part of life. Whether it’s for family, rest, or something unexpected, CrewHero gives you a simple, clear way to request time off and know it’s being seen.
You don’t need paper forms or random texts anymore — just use your phone.
✅ How Do I Submit a Time-Off Request?
1. Log in to go.crewhero.app
Use your phone number. We’ll text you a login code — no password needed.
2. On your homepage, find Time-Off Requests
Tap “+ Submit Time Off”
3. Fill out the request
- Pick the dates
- Choose if it’s Paid, Unpaid, or Not Sure
- Add a note (like “Doctor appointment” or “Camping with family”)
That’s it! You’ll get updates inside CrewHero as your request moves forward.
👀 What Happens Next?
- Your Manager will review it and either Approve or Deny
- You may get a text when they respond
- The Office/HR Team will process approved requests for payroll
- They’ll mark if it’s Sick, Vacation, PTO, etc.
You can always go back into CrewHero to check your request status.
💬 Use the Comment Box!
If you have questions, leave a comment right in your request. It stays attached to the ticket so everyone stays on the same page.
Here are some common questions people ask:
- “Will this be paid or unpaid?”
- “How many days off do I still have?”
- “Can I change this to unpaid instead?”
- “Thanks for reviewing this!” (Yes — you can say thank you, too!)
Pro Tip: If something changes — like you don’t need the day off anymore — just add a comment so your manager knows.

Yep! You can view past and pending requests under the Time-Off section of your CrewHero app.
It’s your personal record — no need to chase anyone down.

Yes. Your request is only visible to:
- Your Manager
- The Office Team
- You
