🎛️ What Is the Display App?
The CrewHero TV Display App is a large-format visual board for showing:
- ✅ Crew names
- ✅ Assigned crew members
- ✅ Assigned vehicles & equipment
- ✅ Job or task notes
It’s designed for use on a TV or monitor mounted in your shop, office, or dispatch area — anywhere your crew gathers in the morning.
🧭 How to Access the Display App
- Click your profile icon or name in the bottom-left corner of CrewHero
- Select Display App from the pop-up menu
- The full-screen board will launch automatically in a new tab or window
Optional Controls:
- Press Ctrl + L to toggle between views
- Use the green hex settings icon (bottom-left) to filter specific crews
🖥️ Ideal TV Setup
- Use a horizontal TV or monitor with a clear, full-width view
- Set to full-screen (F11 on most browsers) for best visibility
- Position it where crews gather in the morning — breakroom, hallway, dispatch office, etc.
Tip: Display only your most active or relevant crews by filtering them using the green hex icon.
🧠 When to Use the TV Display
The TV Display is especially useful when:
- A team member forgot their phone
- A new hire hasn’t been given app access yet
- You want to visually reinforce crew structure at the start of the day
- You want a backup view in case of poor signal or technical difficulties
Pro Tip: The primary method for accessing CrewHero is still the mobile app — but the TV board is a great secondary tool to increase awareness and reduce confusion in the yard.
🧩 Crew View Breakdown
On the left:
- CTRL+L - Add’s Alphabetical list of crew members to the left of the screen
On the right:
- Boxes with each crew name and:
- Assigned leader
- Vehicles/trailers
- Notes or assignments
- Equipment (if applicable)
This lets team members see what crew they’re on and then locate the matching box for full details.
🖼️ Multi-TV Setup
If you have more than 10–15 crews, we recommend using multiple TVs — each filtered by division.
For example:
- TV 1 → Design/Build Crews
- TV 2 → Fleet + Shop Crews
- TV 3 → Maintenance or Snow Ops
This keeps the view clean, readable, and easy to follow for your team.
