The CrewHero TV Display App is a large-format visual board for showing:

Itโ€™s designed for use on a TV or monitor mounted in your shop, office, or dispatch area โ€” anywhere your crew gathers in the morning.


๐Ÿงญ How to Access the Display App

  1. Click your profile icon or name in the bottom-left corner of CrewHero
  1. Select Display App from the pop-up menu
  1. The full-screen board will launch automatically in a new tab or window

Optional Controls:

  • Press Ctrl + L to toggle between views
  • Use the green hex settings icon (bottom-left) to filter specific crews

  • Use a horizontal TV or monitor with a clear, full-width view
  • Set to full-screen (F11 on most browsers) for best visibility
  • Position it where crews gather in the morning โ€” breakroom, hallway, dispatch office, etc.
Tip: Display only your most active or relevant crews by filtering them using the green hex icon.

The TV Display is especially useful when:

  • A team member forgot their phone
  • A new hire hasnโ€™t been given app access yet
  • You want to visually reinforce crew structure at the start of the day
  • You want a backup view in case of poor signal or technical difficulties
Pro Tip: The primary method for accessing CrewHero is still the mobile app โ€” but the TV board is a great secondary tool to increase awareness and reduce confusion in the yard.

On the left:

  • CTRL+L - Addโ€™s Alphabetical list of crew members to the left of the screen

On the right:

  • Boxes with each crew name and:
    • Assigned leader
    • Vehicles/trailers
    • Notes or assignments
    • Equipment (if applicable)
This lets team members see what crew theyโ€™re on and then locate the matching box for full details.

If you have more than 10โ€“15 crews, we recommend using multiple TVs โ€” each filtered by division.

For example:

  • TV 1 โ†’ Design/Build Crews
  • TV 2 โ†’ Fleet + Shop Crews
  • TV 3 โ†’ Maintenance or Snow Ops

This keeps the view clean, readable, and easy to follow for your team.
