What Is CrewHero?

CrewHero is your daily command center for production managers and frontline field teams. It helps you assign people, trucks, and trailers — and makes sure your crew knows what’s up before they punch in. No more morning chaos, no more waiting around for info and frustrations. Everyone starts the day ready to go. Faster Dispatches, Less non-billable labor, More production = Higher Profits

Whether you're managing 10 trucks or 50, CrewHero gives you a clean way to plan, communicate, and adjust — all from your phone or computer. Trash the whiteboards and notebooks.


What CrewHero Does (and Doesn’t)

CrewHero helps with:

CrewHero doesn’t:

  • Replace your CRM or invoicing software
  • Do GPS tracking or time cards (yet)
  • Handle customer scheduling or sales
Pro Tip: If your current CRM doesn’t help you before 7 AM, CrewHero probably does.

Key Concepts

  • Crews: Groups of people working together for the day. A crew can be just 1 person or several.
  • Assignments: Who’s working, where, and with what.
  • Dispatch: Where all the planning magic happens — this is for managers and admins.
  • Frontline: The info hub where your frontline teams access their daily assignments, track their requests and update their info.
  • Assets: Trucks, trailers, and equipment you assign to each job.

How Roles Work

Every person in CrewHero has a role. Here’s the quick breakdown:

Crew Member (CM)
Works on a crew, sees assignments and updates info
Tip: You only need to give seats to people who use CrewHero Manager. Frontline teams and fleet technicians have free access.

Billing & Seat Types

CrewHero only bills for Management users who log in to Manager. Your Frontline is free. We want you to add as many of them as you can without costing any more money
